Information we collect
We collect information you give us when you subscribe, contact us or interact with our content. This can include:
- Your email address, any name you choose to provide, and the contents of messages you send us.
- Subscription preferences, signup and consent records, and unsubscribe requests.
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages requested, referring website and visit times, collected through our website and service providers.
- Email delivery and engagement information, which may include whether a newsletter was opened or a link was clicked, depending on the email service and your settings.
You can read our public content without subscribing. We need your email address to send the newsletter and enough contact information to respond to an enquiry. Please do not send passwords, bank account details or sensitive personal information.
How we use your information
We use your information to deliver the newsletters and resources you request, respond to enquiries, manage subscriptions, understand which content is useful, improve our website, prevent misuse and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
The Rich Life Club and email choices
When you subscribe, we use your email address to send BrokeRichKid newsletters, practical money ideas and related updates. We send marketing emails with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting contact@innovateignite.com. We action unsubscribe requests within five working days, without charging a fee or requiring you to create an account.
The budget calculator
The budget calculator works in your browser. The income figures you enter and the results it generates are not submitted to us or stored by the calculator. If you choose to send us a screenshot or include those figures in an email, that information becomes part of your correspondence with us.
Cookies, website activity and external resources
Our website and service providers may use cookies, logs and similar technologies to deliver and protect the site, measure performance and understand how content is used. Email services may use tracking links or small images to measure engagement. You can manage cookies through your browser and control remote images through your email settings; some features or measurements may be affected.
We use Vercel to host the website and Google Fonts to display typefaces. Loading these services involves your browser sending technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to those providers. Their privacy information is available from Vercel and Google.
Service providers and overseas processing
We share information with providers that help us host and secure the website, deliver email and provide technical support, as needed for those services. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, to our professional advisers, or with your permission.
Information may be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States, where providers such as Vercel and Google operate. Locations depend on the service and its infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by our providers and meet any applicable Australian privacy obligations. Contact us if you would like more information about the providers involved.
Security and retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No website, email or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described here and any applicable legal requirements, then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. We may retain a limited record of an unsubscribe request so that we can respect your choice.
Access, corrections and privacy complaints
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing contact@innovateignite.com. We may need to verify your identity. If a legal requirement or another lawful reason prevents us from fulfilling a request, we will explain why.
If you have a privacy complaint, please describe what happened and how we can contact you. We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will let you know. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction, or another relevant regulator.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our information handling changes and show the latest revision date above. Where required, we will give additional notice or seek consent for material changes.
